Privacy policy
Updated October 8, 2026
This policy covers the AKIS Solutions website at akis-solutions.com, its customer accounts, support conversations and service requests. For questions about your information, contact account support.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide, including your name and email address. Password sign-in stores a password hash rather than your readable password.
- Session information, including sign-in identifiers, expiry times, IP addresses and browser or device information used for authentication and security.
- Your support messages, VINs, service descriptions, request status and staff review history.
- For an OKX removal payment, the sender UID, transfer reference, transfer time and payment confirmation you submit, along with the staff verification record. The website does not collect your OKX password, wallet private keys or card details.
Google sign-in
When Google sign-in is available and you choose it, Google provides basic identity information such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, email verification status and profile picture if supplied. Authentication tokens may be stored to maintain the sign-in connection. We use this information to create or authenticate your AKIS account and protect access to it.
Customer Google login requests basic identity access. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendar. Connecting the business support mailbox is a separate integration; it does not grant access to customers’ inboxes.
AKIS Solutions does not sell Google account information, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How information is used and shared
We use account and request information to sign you in, respond to inquiries, provide privately agreed CARFAX pricing, review image-removal requests, verify submitted payment details, maintain service records and prevent abuse.
Private requests and conversations are available to the account holder and authorized AKIS support staff. They are not displayed in the public vehicle archive. AKIS Solutions uses hosting and infrastructure providers to operate this website. These providers process information needed for hosting, storage, security and service delivery. Google processes Google sign-in and mail handled through the business Gmail inbox. When email delivery is connected, its provider processes recipient addresses and message content needed to deliver notifications. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.
Choosing an external service, including Google, OKX or a linked automotive platform, also involves that provider’s own privacy practices. A vehicle inquiry does not automatically place an order with a third party.
Cookies and security
The account system uses essential sign-in cookies. A persistent sign-in session can last up to 30 days; signing out ends that session. The website uses HTTPS and server-side access checks to protect account information. Avoid sending passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary sensitive documents in support messages.
Retention
Account and conversation records are stored to maintain your account, handle requests and retain relevant service and payment history. They are not subject to the vehicle archive’s four-year expiry. Contact us to request account closure or deletion; we review what can be deleted and identify any records that need to be retained for outstanding requests, payment disputes, security or applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Public auction records and images have a maximum retention of four calendar years from first import, with earlier removal where required. Approved image removal blocks the hosted images and schedules deletion of stored copies. A minimal VIN suppression record is retained to prevent those images from being imported again. Vehicle information can remain public.
Your choices and requests
You can contact account support to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may ask you to verify your identity before releasing or changing private information. Privacy and copyright complaints can be submitted for review without buying the commercial image-removal service.
You can also manage or revoke a Google connection through your Google Account settings. Revoking that connection does not by itself delete your AKIS account or earlier service records; contact us for account deletion.
